Or fatal. if she's ill enough to have been advised to stay in the hospital, flowers aren't going to replace treatment. Hence, "femme folle" crazy woman.
I had to request restraints when my husband was in hospital...he wanted to walk out AMA....crazy people. Thanks fren for posting. I didn't have a problem with Annell's kink. I DK
Caring can often look so much like carelessness, especially when people are too overwhelmed to think clearly. This reminds me of circumstances when family members are so determined to visit their sick, that the visits keeps the ailing from resting... and healing.
That will surely be healing!

ReplyDeleteI am glad she bought the flowers. A moment of hope, or comfort.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it's the flower or the outside the hospital that is the lethal part.
ReplyDeleteObviously the flowers are harmless in and of themselves. But neither are they a cure for anything serious.
DeleteSome feel a bouquet will take away pain or pretty up death.
ReplyDeletemaybe all that's left are flowers ~
ReplyDeleteI wondered if she's taking the yellow flowers home with her to make life less crazy.
ReplyDeleteNow there's a thought. I like how you read beyond the lines.
DeleteSweetness of flowers hide the scent of illness. Wonderful, Shay!
